Overview: At Et3am we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and how you can contact us. We do not share personal data with third parties without your explicit consent.

Data we collect

To enable the core functionality of Et3am (matching donors and receivers and facilitating safe food delivery), we may collect the following data when you register or use the app:

• Phone number: Used as the primary contact methodand for account identification.
• National ID (ID card number or image): Collected only when required for identity verificationoon (e.g., to confirm receiver eligibility). You can provide the ID number or upload an image if requested.
• Role: You will choose one role Donor or Receiver. This is used to present the appropriate UI and workflows.

Why we collect this data

We collect phone numbers, role selection, and optional ID verification to:

• Identify and contact users about donations and pickups.
• Verify receivers when necessary to ensure fair distribution.
• Enable secure and traceable food transfer logistics between donors and receivers.

We do not share your personal data

We will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal informatiion WITH THIRD PARTIES> Data is used only to provide Et3am services (matching, communication, delivery coordination) and for internal support/verification when needed.

App permissions

The app requests the minimum permissions needed to work:

• No mandatory sensitive permissions: You can use basic features without granting device-sensitive permissions.
• Camera / Storage/ Location (optional): Only requested if you want to add a plate .

Data retention & deletion

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service. If you want your account and associated personal information removed, email us (see contact below) and we will remove your data within a reasonable timeframe.

Targeted Age

The application does not contain any sensitive content not to be dispalyed to small ages, but we prefer the minimum age to use the application is 13 just because of the application goal and to be more realistic to receivers.
